In October 31, 2018, Manchester Metropolitan University hosted the international scientific conference of young scholars «Actual problems of modern and contemporary history» with the participation of students and lecturers of the Department. The format of the conference for the Russian participants was not usual, as it was less official. This form of the event contributed to a lively discussion between the participants.
