MAINPAGE NEWS HISTORY STAFF LIBRARY PHOTOGALLERY SSS «NOVIST» ÐÓÑÑÊÈÉ A TRIP WITH SEMINAR OF LECTURERS AND STUDENTS OF THE CHAIR TO VELIKY NOVGOROD On June 3, 2018, a visiting seminar of the Department was held in Veliky Novgorod, which was held with the participation of the delegation of the Wroclaw University. In addition to the traditional reports on the North-Western region of Russia, the seminar programme included a sightseeing tour of the Novgorod Kremlin and Yaroslav's court; a visit to the St. Sophia Cathedral, St. Anthony's monastery and the Cathedral of the Nativity of the virgin, the center for the restoration of monumental painting. There was also a meeting with colleagues-historians from the Novgorod state University (Faculty of Humanities).
