A TRIP WITH SEMINAR OF LECTURERS AND STUDENTS OF THE CHAIR TO PRIOZERSK

At June 4, 2017 a scientific-practical seminar «The Karelian isthmus between West and East (Korela/Kexholm/Kakisalmi/Priozersk)» was held. The seminar was organized with the participation of students and tutors of the Institute of History, University of Wroclaw (Poland).

During the event, the participants visited the Soviet fortifications in Lembolovo, made a stop in the city of Losevo and Melnikovo. The main purpose of the event was the visit to the town of Priozersk and the tour to the castle. Traditionally, during the seminar the students made presentations dedicated to the history of the Karelian isthmus.

The participation of Polish delegation became possible with the financial support of the the Centre for Polish-Russian dialogue and understanding (grant, under the theme "Spotkali sie Polak, Rosjanin, Niemiec... Poczucie humoru w Polsce i Rosji. Smieja Z czego sie Polacy i Rosjanie").
